Nu--Teck Group was incorporated in January of 1996 in the State of Nevada.  Nu-Teck is run (owned) by a retired Hughes Aircraft Engineer who realized his dream of making airless tires about 12 years ago. Each tire is hand made.

Manufacturing operations are located in the Sherwood Business Park in Englewood, Colorado.  Nu-Teck currently occupies a 3,500 sq. ft. office/manufacturing facility.  Current production capability is as follows:

1.  Single Station Rate:

• 45 Tires/Hr. = 315 Tires/Day (8hr shift).  single shift operation at present, with capability of expanding to up to 3 shifts if demand exceeds current capacity.

2.  Plan to expand to a Dual Single Station Rate.

The principals of Nu-Teck have solid experience in engineering, process technology, manufacturing and management.

Custom Orders

Nu-Teck makes different sized tires on different days of the week. When we manufacturer custom PSI tires, we try to manufacture one size in bulk. The setup requires a special mix up of chemical and station adjustments to manufacture them. The tires then need to wait a day in a holding area to cure before being boxed up and sent to our customers. Sometimes you can order a custom PSI tire and have it in a week and other times it takes upwards of four weeks. It just depends on when your size is to be made. We have made this service available since 1996 and no other company (Distributor or Dealer) can offer this. When you order custom tires, you are getting product that is made specific to you and will make your riding experience even more enjoyable.

With over 100 million cyclists in the United States, and over 41 million bicycle tires imported into the United States in 1995, Nu-Teck believes its technology will revolutionize the bicycle tire industry.  Nu-Teck is unique because it manufactures all of its tires in the United States.  Carlisle Rubber was the last United States manufacturer to cease production.
